On March 1st, 2013 Banh Mi Cafe was establish, Banh mi cafe is the home of market fresh Vietnamese Baguette and Viet street food. From humble with 4 table at beginnings located at 21 Jalan Puteri 7/9, Banh mi cafe has been spreading the love for honest, great service & feel-good, market fresh Vietnamese cooking. Always using natural ingredients, in tune with seasonality and made from scratch daily.
On Nov 2015 Banh Mi Cafe have relocated to back row with bigger capacity...with over 36 table with over 100 Vietnamese dish all our customer are repeated even from breakfast till dinner at Banh Mi cafe..
'Banh Mi' is the Vietnamese word for 'bread' but in the UK it is used more to describe the Vietnamese Baguette Sandwich. 'Banh Mi' sandwiches are baguettes filled with hot or cold Vietnamese style meats, pickled carrot and daikon fresh pate, coriander, cucumber and a range of sauces. We offer a choice of Banh Mi or Authentic Vietnamese Baguettes. Our Authentic Vietnamese Baguettes are lighter and airier than regular baguettes. We make our bread dough from scratch each morning and baked few section in the afternoon using traditional Vietnamese techniques and ingredients. It is a highly skilled craft which takes years to perfect and the secret is in the kneading method as well as the ingredients.
