Spanning a 39m x 22.5m rink size, the spectacular view of the rink’s sleek-modern design creates an open view for the shoppers on each of the five floors to watch the skaters in action…an enjoyable and relaxing view. You maybe old or young but there sure is something cool for everyone – whether you’re an ice skating enthusiast or lacing up your skates for the first time!

How to lace up your skate
- Proper lacing keeps your firm in the skates and at the same time gives your ankle freedom for maneuvering.
- Especially if you are a new skater, lacing should be tight. Lace tightly up to the hooks, then firmly along the hooks all the way to the top and then tie in common knot.
- When the boot has been completely laced, you should be able to stand erect on the blade.
- Should your ankle bend inward or outward, make sure you are wearing the right size.
- To ensure the boot is not laced up too tight, moving your ankle forward you should be able to insert two fingers at the back of your boots.

Sunway Pyramid Ice Skating Academy is a skating academy by Sunway Pyramid Ice. The academy is a member of the ISIAsia (Ice Skating Institute Asia). It offers ice-skating programme from beginner to advance level following the syllabus of ISIAsia. It offers recreational ice-skating programmes for all skaters from as young as 3 years old. The initial beginners’ programme has evolved from a basic skating skills curriculum to comprehensive step-by-step skating programme that teaches proper skating fundamentals in a fun and relaxing environment, and prepares skaters to participate in the ISI competitions.
ISIAsia is the Governing body, based in Hong Kong SAR China, for recreational ice skating for Asia. It was established in August 16, 1999, with the permission of the Board of Directors of the Ice Skating Institute, U.S.A. ISIAsia is an independent body with license to use the copyright skating programme of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) as the basis for recreational teaching and testing of ice skating. The Ice Skating Institute (ISI) standardised programme, introduced in 1964, is designed to increase interest and participation in ice-skating. It provides a nurturing environment where skills are broken down into progressive, achievable levels that encourage a skater’s development.
