Our hotel, originally named the Railway Hotel, was built along the classic lines of that era, and today is regarded as one of the grand hotels of the East.
Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin first opened its doors to welcome guests in the early 1920s, at a time when the new railway line to Malaysia was transforming the sleepy fishing village of Hua Hin into Thailand’s first beach resort.
Sensitively extended and renovated, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin retains its air of that bygone age of elegance. Set on the beachfront, with a wide expanse of gardens perfect for strolling and enjoying the sea breezes, and with a prime town centre location ideal for exploring and shopping, the resort hotel is a prime destination for couples and families.
Accommodation
Our rooms and suites reflect the living heritage of our hotel and its era, with their high ceilings, polished hardwood flooring and period furniture, softened by the rich, warm tones of Thai silk and other natural fabrics and lit with plentiful natural daylight. At the same time, the accommodation provides every modern convenience for the 21st century traveller, in the same way we did for the traveller of the 20th century.
The accommodation is spread across the three wings of the main building, with different configurations to meet the needs of singles, couples and families. Spaciousness is a feature with every room category, with our largest suites providing a living area of 170 square metres.
Located in a quiet area of our huge expanse of gardens, and served by a separate swimming pool and children’s pool, we also offer 42 single-storey villas. With a décor dominated by the hues of tropical hardwoods and soft natural fabrics, the villas offer privacy and space, the largest being 120 square metres in area. There is the choice of a Jacuzzi or plunge pool on the terrace, and the villas have their own concierge services, providing a bespoke holiday experience for you and your partner, or for the family.
For an extra enhancement of your stay, Club benefits include exclusive access to the Club Lounge, a relaxing venue offering complementary collations served daily. Children 12 years old and above are classed as adults.

There are nine suites for singles and couples, including a venue entirely dedicated to invigorating, traditional Thai massage, plus a separate venue for manicure and pedicure.
