About Us
Jamil Ghani Construction was established since 1970. Haji Jamil b. S. Othman Ghani remains an active member in all areas of the business. Jamil Ghani Construction Sdn. Bhd, earned its Class ‘A’ bumiputera license as early as 1981 from Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor following several successful building projects.
Today, Jamil Ghani Construction Sdn. Bhd. carries with it the Malaysian Government’s hallmark recognition of ‘Wibawa’, thus enabling the company to become a leading provider in the construction services industry. In the past twenty years, JGC has successfully completes more than 100 projects of various sizes and contract value particulary in the residential building market, infrastructure, services and marine.
The contracting firm is located in Penang Island, but operates primarily in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. We have grown from a small contracting firm to a medium sized entity, offering a wide range of construction-related services from general contracting services for “build to specification” projects and design-build services via partnering concepts for “turnkey” projects. Our client base is comprised mainly of the Malaysian Government and the private sector.
Projects are secured either through competitive bidding or direct negotiations. We pride ourselves on providing high quality services and cost-saving solutions to tailor our clients’ aesthetic/budgetary requirements.
As an accredited Wibawa contractor, we take pride in our active, direct involvement in all projects, where no controversial form of total sub-contracting is undertaken as opposed to the mainstream contracting practice of negative, minimum-accountability demeanour prevalent among many Bumiputra entities. We work closely with all our sub-contractors and execute a strict monitor over all our tradesmen and their performance. As a result, we have built a strong clientele comprised of loyal and satisfied owners who have repeatedly sought our expertise and services.
In December 2002, we are proud to be accredited the international recognition of MS ISO 9001:2000 certification in our quality management system. Having “Total Safety and Customer Satisfaction Through Continual Improvement” as our quality policy, we have proved that our company are complied with the international standards and thus, our quality will never be compromised.
