In 2010 Saras opened its restaurant doors in downtown Bangkok. Offering the widest possible range of vegetarian food from all over India, and using only traditional ingredients, Saras is a totally unique dining experience.
Here, we have created a menu encompassing all that India has to offer, from the famous “street food” of the major cities to rich regional delights, from sumptuous savories to authentic Indian desserts. Everything is prepared by experienced, talented chefs using traditional cooking methods, and served to you by friendly and knowledgeable staff, fluent in many languages.
We have been tremendously encouraged by the success of Saras in Bangkok and have now opened a new branch in Pattaya, where lovers of fine food are now enjoying the authentic delights of India.
We have a deep understanding and respect for Indian culture and its regional variations, and in particular the role of fine cuisine in Indian weddings and festivals. We are able to cater for any event, small or large, anywhere in Thailand and always ensure that cuisines are individually created to best suit each specific occasion.
We recognize the importance of desserts and sweets to Indian food lovers and, to ensure complete authenticity and the best possible taste, we make them all ourselves. We have established top quality manufacturing facilities here in Bangkok and every day produce a multitude of fresh new desserts that can be purchased in our restaurants, either as part of your meal or to take home. We have, as well, developed creative and elegant packs because we know that our desserts can make great gifts for friends and family.
